The H&S Management Team

We are an independent consultancy based in East Sussex. Our clients are along the South coast, Kent and Essex along to Surrey and up to London and Hertfordshire.

Rob Slater Tech. IOSH, ICIOB, AIIRSM, is our senior Health & Safety Consultant. He has over 20 years experience in the building industry, starting as a plasterer, running his own successful business and being a building site manager. He has worked within the field of Health & Safety for some years, and has extensive experience of construction as well as general industry – transport, factories, offices, warehouses etc. He is a dynamic trainer and teaches amongst many other things, general site safety, manual handling and First Aid. As part of his continuing learning, he will soon be studying for his Masters degree in Occupational Safety & Health.

Trish Slater SRN, HND, is our nursing trainer. She is a Registered Nurse with 25 years experience. She has been Matron of a Nursing Home, the Branch Manager of one Nursing Agency, Operations Manager of another. Until recently made redundant due to NHS jobs cuts, she was the lead Manual and Infection Control Trainer for five NHS Trusts, and taught Manual Handling, First Aid and Life Support to health professionals. Trish is also a Member of the National Back Exchange and has just gained a City & Guilds 7407 Certificate in Further Education Teaching, and is now doing an MSc in Infection Control.

We also have other very highly qualified consultants who teach First Aid, Basic and Advanced life support, Anaphylaxis and Resuscitation, PMVA, POVA, and others who are also NEBOSH qualified.
